X3 Vs X2.3b

ok I'm new to xb mods but I'm not new to modding. I just wanted to know what is the main difference between x2.3b and x3 :?: Is it worth it for a newb to actually wait for the x3? Also, 160gb hd will work on a x2.3b corrrect? may be I should ask that on the x2 forum. If someone can help me I would really apreciate it. Thankz

well it depends also on your knowledge of wut can be done with the xbox and also what you want to do. if your just thinking about the basic stuff youve read about modding an xbox then stick with the x2.3 but if you have gone over the features list on the x3 and something caught your eye then wait for the x3!! i personally would just wait for a newer product of any sorts. just read over the features list for the x3 then come back with your ?'s

as far as the main difference's id say..... bios backup for one(okay not back-up but more like safety), LCD support, and the advanced switch with IR features. then theres load more just read the list

Hey,
I wouldn't pull out a working chip to put the X3 in but if your doing a fresh mod I would definitely wait for the X3.
Especially being that it's so close to being released.
