So - I have got Ck3 but I found one strange thing with ModeB switch:

At first when I unpacked it using it I had all switches OFF - power switch - OFF position, Eject and ModeB switches - UP.
View from the top:

Then I Switch power ON:

As far as I know from Team Xecuter tutorials, RED means ModeB is ON.
Is ModeB ON when ModeB switch is depressed? Why I got led which is next to the MODEB switch - RED - in tutorials it's the other led RED when MODEB activated.

Here - http://team-xecuter.com/ck3/hitachi_pre07.htm (http://team-xecuter.com/forums/../ck3/hitachi_pre07.htm) I see on image 1 that different led is red.

And there is instruction which reads:
and press the Modeb switch so the LED is REDWhat does it mean? Different led and different position?

Then I press MODEB switch Down:

Led which was red is now OFF. Led which is next to power connector is BRIGHT BLUE =) as it is said in tutorials - blue means ModeB OFF.

In Tutorials it's said that when PROBE is connected its led becomes blue when CK3 blue led is ON. But it's not said if PROBE's blue led should be on or off if CK3 led is red.
Ck3 - blue led; probe - blue led:

Ck3 - red led; probe - still blue led:

So I want to know:
1 - Is my CK3 pro+Probe OK?
2 - Are the leds working properly?
3 - In which ModeB switch position ModeB is ON? Up (depressed) or Down (pressed)?
4 - Which leds should be on in different positions of ModeB switch?
5 - How should led on tail of PROBE work? Always blue when power to CK3 is on? Or it is dependent on the ModeB switch position?

By the way, if I got different Identity.bin files during read process? Is it ok?
I made 3 reads of the same drive at first and got 3 identical copies of all 3 files with same MD5. But after some setup change I read the key again and identity.bin was different. 2 other files were she same - they got identical MD5 to those which I read first.

Thanks in advance.

modeb is only required for hitachi drives so i would not worry about it red or blue it will not effect your flash.

yes it will be fine, flashing is done via the sata cable your only using the ck3 to power the drive and to short out R707 with the probe to get the key.bin, identify.bin, inquiry.bin. after that the probe is no longer needed.
