xbox 360 rrod fix

i have put the heat compound on the gpu processors, put the heat sinks back on, plugged the xbox in and i still have the three red lights. I noticed that when i turn it on, the heatsinks do not heat up. also i tried turning on my fan and it did not work either. I put in the dvd drive and all it can do is actually turn on the xbox. It cant open. Please help.

Look at your power cord. If the light turns green then right back to orange then your Xbox is most likely unfixable. I have fixed many Xbox 360's but if the power does not go through it signifies a major hardware failure. You could try the heatgun trick but I had no luck trying that myself.
