Hey fellows,
not knowing anythingh about all the products of Xecter, I bought a Blaster360 NE, but was getting "Blaster CK3".
On the box there stands "Now supports all ... drives."
Cool. But I got confused, while installing it.
I used the Blaster-NE Tutorial, because I can't find one for the Blaster-CK3.
Now I've got 2 little white cables that are not connected.
Just tried, if the box works in Xbox-Mode... it does.
Am too tired to try a flash, but my question is:
"Am I ready to flash an Elite (with BenQ) with the Blaster-CK3, installed using a Blaster-NE tutorial anyhow?"
Dear friends,
I'm noob and not knowing the scene... what goes on in here? ;)

Both the blaster and the Blaster NE are similar in there ways, instead the Blaster NE has wires going through the case instead of pins on there previous model,
There is no support for the BLaster NE Xcuter team are currently working on it, and will have full support for it by the weekend.
As for the 2 wire plugs that you see on ODD cable, The 2 pin plug goes with the green and blue plug through the casing and plugs into the blaster. The 3 pin white plug is for the probe that you get with the kit, probe is for Liteon drives, So if you have a v1 liteon you will need to use the probe to obtain a key from the drive.
Hope that helps

Its designed that once you install it you don't need to open your 360 again. Still have to open it the first time though.

so how do u attach it to the xbox other than the clips? but does that mean its only designed to flash 1 drive?

try reading up on the older version of the blaster to get an idea of how it works. It amazes me how few people actually do any reading for themselves on this website. Instead you all just want us to do the legwork for you so that you get the info with minimal effort.

hey guys just got my blaster ck3 today and installed, flashed my drive before i even had the blaster tho. just one question in regards to the blaster it self and my xbox360. it said no need to lug the power cord around from the xbox anymore i am cool with that but how in the world do you power the xbox on with the small usb cable that came with the blaster ck3. i pluged it in along with the sata cable nothing, went and got the power supply it powered up and it worked fine. any info on this would be great thanks

I installed it already. I read through a few articles about all this, but in fact
I am a musician with less knowledge of electrical/physical modulation. One day I'll go deeper into the matter, but my time is narrowed, so i am reliant of those "step-by-step" tutorials and really thankful that they exist.
Every one has a special skill and a society needs a wide spectrum, please consider this.

I think those of us with the Blaster CK3 got it early somehow. It's not due out until Monday. I'm sure T-X will have a tutorial up this weekend or early next week. I would suggest waiting until then to install or to flash. Also if you plan on playing games on XBL or ever using XBL again in the future I would certainly wait for the new iextreme lite FW to come out. Happy modding!

I have 0 electrical knowledge. But on the point of a tutorial, if the new item is just a new revision of the previous item wouldn't it be logical to think that the way it installs is very similar if not the exact same? I google for what I need to find and if after looking there and in the forum im trying to get help in THEN and only then will I post asking for help. A few months ago I flashed a Lite-On which i thought I bricked. Did a few searches and found the tutorial to fix the issue. I'm just trying to point out what a simple search will find you. I use many step by step tutorials for many things. Its called CYA(cover your A$$)
It gets old seeing the same questions asked over and over daily by different people. Sometimes it just takes going past the first page of the section you are looking in to find a thread on the exact same issue you are having. At least on this forum.

no that was the first Blaster. The Blaster NE and CK3 use the 360 power supply.
Retailers shouldnt have shipped this till monday so apologies for the site not being live yet.
tbh all the cables are color coded and the install is pretty much the same as the NE except for a couple of extra cables (which are color coded)
naturally if you have a liteon 74850c you have to strip the drive down and hook up the blaster and the blaster probe and grab that drive key first (same method as ck3 pro) - then you can box it all back together.

what do you mean "cant get the xbox to fire up with the usb" ? that doesnt make any sense ?

Note: This is the OLD tutorial http://team-xecuter.com/blaster360/installblaster360ne.htm however the install principal is the same as the new Blaster Ck3 - remember you only ever need to install the USB drivers and hook up the USB / Serial cable if you have a Liteon 74850C drive - if you dont have that drive - do not use the USB.
The entire TX website has been completley designed from the ground up and it was due to be launched on Monday on the day of the official Blaster rls - I guess some sellers jumped the gun so sorry about that. I'll try to get everything live by tomorrow.

I have one customer, telling me that his probe isn't working on a liteon v1 drive, so if anyone is having an issue with the probe I'd like to know.
i have yet to flash my v1 so i don't know if the guy is doing it wrong or if it is faulty.
And for anyone a little confused on installing the blast ck3 make sure that you plug WHITE 2 pin plug into the blaster, this plug comes off the ODD cable, and runs with the GREEN & BLUE plug.

i thought you could fire up your xbox using the usb cable that came in the box, but as you have said before you cant, and if you try it might cause problems to your xbox/blasterck3. that clears up alot of problems i have no need for the other items i guess that came in box, i am just lazy when it comes to opening my xbox grr pain in the butt  i got a benq drive so its easy to flash:D

and you have not replied so you have either fixed it and not bothered to make a post about it which kinda screws your fellow forum members in the ass - or you haven't fixed your problem so why bother ask for help in the first place.
