i got a problem with the rrod kit

hey guys i received my xecuter rrod version 2 kit today as my 360 had the 3 rrod so went and followed the tutorial from their website:-

but i got to the last step when i start my machine i get the 3 rrod with the fan of the 360 unplugged and after 2 mins i get 2 rrod so i remove the power cable and then connect back the fan and turn the machine on but instead now again i get 3 rrod so i have tried waiting for over 30 mins but nothing happens its stuck on 3 rrod so please can someone help me as i can only get to the 2rrod i have done everything as they have put down in the tutorial.

Are the heatsinks warming up ?
Check the bolts aren't too tight or too loose, check the board isn't bowing and the heatsinks are secure ;)

yes the heatsink is getting pretty hot without the fan because i can feel the heat as it warms up and i move over the hetsink

<P>dont unplug your fan, whats happening is the box is overheating and switching off before the solder on the chip begins to soften. What you need to do is lift the fan out of its seating and lay it half way across your dvd drive and the large heatsink directing the cold air on to the large heatsink. hence keping it cool enough preventing the box turning off, leave it like this for a good 45 mins, switch off let all cool down and you should be good to go&nbsp;&nbsp;</P>

What error codes are you getting?

turn the xbox on, wait till you get 3 red lights and hold the sync button (Dont let go) and press the eject button. Do this 4 times and you should get different lights lighting up.

4 = 0
3 = 3
2 = 2
1 = 1

So for instance you get 4 then 1 then 4 then 2... this should read 0102.
