Thanks for the tutorial. I followed it last night and it is as clear as can be. In fact, I had more difficulty getting the case open than getting everything installed correctly.

You link to 3 case-opening tutorials from your tutorials page. I found that each of the 3 tutorials makes assumptions/is unclear in some parts (down to both English content and illustrations). Generally speaking, as a modding noob, I think if you guys were to put as much time into a case opening tutorial (using the supplied tool) as you did the Blaster installation part you'd get a bit more custom. That is by no means a criticism, just a suggestion - a clear official tutorial would perhaps dissuade some fears people may have.

Anyway, thanks again for both an excellent product and suitably high quality guide!

Thanks. Just for anyone else reading and thinking it's at all difficult - it's not really, the reason I was delayed was primarily down to the differences across the tutorials rather than the content itself.

I would absolutely recommend the Blaster360 and doing it yourself.

Could you add a note to check which model ODD you have to the tute as I forgot and now I have to open my 360 again.

Strangely pushing eject on the Blaster360 doesn't help remove it from the 360 case (joking) and there is no guide on how to open the case once Blaster360 is installed.

Okay I got it apart but I found you cant use the unlock tool for stage 2-3 once the blaster is installed. You just need to use a small flat screw driver. I think it would still be a good idea to remind people to take note of which particular ODD they have in their 360.

ms28 as I suspected. I'd agree with the above poster though, needed a small flat screwdriver to get the blaster out - maybe you can do it with your tool but I couldnt manage it. Hardly a problem really so long as people remember to write down their odd version.

Suggest addition to tutorial around step 14 telling people to write down their ODD in case they forget as I did - what a pain that was!

Anyway, reinstalled the blaster and played Full Auto (orig) for a bit - all seems to be going okay again.
