This kit is very simple yet effective when you need to fix a RROD fault.

The #1 cause is the motherboard warps when overheating, so the solder joints break with the memory modules. What we have made is a specially formulated heatpad with a high K value and cut to a precise shape and thickness so that once fitted the memory chips should "fix" themselves without causing any damage.

First dissasemble the Xbox 360 (Click here for tutorial) Then simply remove the motherboard from the 360 and turn it over. You will see 4 pink rubber pads - remove those and replace with the pads in the RROD kit. Screw the Xbox back together and power the Xbox on. Keep it powered on for upto 60 minutes then power off and next power up you should see the healthy green lights. If not repeat.

There are thousands of success stories all around the net - but remember it doesn't fix ALL RROD's just most of them. Good Luck !
